Application
1.This product is used to synthesize uridine.
2.Used in biochemical research.
Uracil is a base unique to RNA and is equivalent to thymine (T) in DNA. During transcription of DNA, the DNA is deconvoluted in the nucleus by deconvolutive enzymes and then paired with free base pairs to form a single strand of RNA, which becomes messenger RNA (mRNA). One of the pyrimidine bases, together with cytosine, is a constituent of RNA. Also contained in important precursors for the production of polysaccharides such as uridine diphosphate glucose. The main difference between RNA and DNA is the sugar composition, with RNA containing uracil and DNA containing thymine.
