Preparation: It is obtained by the reaction of butanoyl chloride and benzene. Add butanoyl chloride dropwise to the mixture of benzene and anhydrous aluminum trichloride under stirring, keep the reaction for 3-4h and then cool to below 40℃, partition the reaction product in the mixture of ice water and hydrochloric acid, take the benzene layer and wash with water, 5% sodium hydroxide solution and water successively, wash to neutral, recover benzene after drying, finally fractionate and collect 182.5-184.5℃ fraction to be the finished product.
