Bioactivity: 2-Thiouracil is a sulfhydrylated uracil derivative and is an anti-hyperthyroid agent.
In vitro studies: 2-Thiouracil is an established antithyroid agent and a widely used research reagent for early detection, targeting metastatic melanoma as a Chemicalbook site.
