Application
Overview; 4-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2-butanone can be used to prepare 4-p-hydroxyphenyl-2-butanone, 4-p-hydroxyphenyl-2-butanone, also known as raspberry ketone, pendant ketone, raspberry ketone (raspberryketone), discovered by Nomura et al. in Japan in 1918, was identified in 1957 as the main fragrance substance in raspberries.
Production process: Raspberry ketone and dimethyl sulfate as raw materials, the etherification reaction to produce.
Preparation:
1. condensation reaction with aniseed aldehyde, acetone and sodium hydroxide as raw materials, after the reaction is completed, the lower alkali layer is separated, and the upper oil is neutralized, washed and distilled to recover the solvent to obtain aniseed butenone;
2. add anisyl butenone to anhydrous alcohol, add catalyst and stir the reaction with hydrogen, distill and recover the solvent after the reaction.
After the reaction, the anhydrous alcohol was recovered by distillation to obtain the hydrogenated product anisyl acetone.
Anisyl acetone can be used to prepare raspberry ketone, including the following specific steps: anisyl acetone, potassium hydroxide, N , N
dimethylacetamide is added to a dry tetra] vial equipped with a thermometer, dropping funnel, and condensing tube, heated to dissolve, and then under stirring
Under stirring conditions, the demethyl reagent was slowly added dropwise and the solid was left to dissolve completely. The mixture was transferred to an autoclave under inert gas protection and reacted under pressure. The reaction mixture was neutralized to neutral, and the oil phase was extracted and distilled under reduced pressure to prepare raspberry ketone crude. The crude product of raspberry ketone was dissolved with solvent and crystallized to obtain the pure product of raspberry ketone. The yield of the invention was
85.2%, and the product purity was 98 5%.
Anisylacetone is a colorless to pale yellow oily liquid with a floral and fruity aroma. It is an intermediate of dobutamine, which is now mainly used as a spice to prepare various fruit flavors, and used in soft drinks, cold drinks, candies, baked foods and pudding foods. It is a relatively high-grade spice. It is also an attractant for insects such as scarabs.
